baj is an improvising trio made up of pianist Bernadette Speach, flutist Andrea La Rose and guitarist Jeffrey Schanzer. Schanzer and Speach are seasoned composer/performers who have worked together for many years, and La Rose brings a fresh approach and attitude to the mix. The trio came together spring 2007 to perform a tribute to Leroy Jenkins and is inspired by his life’s work.
