understanding the language of eighth graders

for two trumpets, cello, bass, accordion, people clapping

ca. 7'

2010.

Written for Anti-Social Music.

I don't actually understand the language of eighth graders. I didn't when I was in eighth grade myself, either. This piece won't clarify anything, being the kind of thing that doesn't really speak to eighth graders. Except for the clapping. Everybody likes clapping.

Although written for trumpets, I'm certainly open to this being played by clarinets, soprano saxes, tenor saxes, violins, what have you.
score.
C trumpets
Bb trumpets
cello and bass
accordion and clappers
